Roles and responsibilities:
- Crafting precise management accounts, ensuring financial clarity.
- Delivering weekly performance analysis reports that provide invaluable insights into our financial performance.
- Managing intercompany recharges and maintaining a structured approach to periodic journal entries.
- Overseeing the upkeep of fixed asset registers, ensuring our assets are well-managed.
- Analysing accruals and prepayments, contributing to precise financial reporting.
- Assisting in balance sheet reconciliations, supporting the maintenance of financial accuracy.
- Overseeing general ledger and cash book management
- Supporting the year-end audit process, playing a vital role in financial accountability.
- Mentoring and assisting a dedicated team of two accounts assistants, nurturing their growth.
- Ensuring precise and timely completion of the four-weekly payroll for approximately 250 staff members.
- Preparing and submitting payroll year-end documentation and offering support to employees with payroll-related queries.
- Reconciling salary nominals with payroll records to maintain financial precision.
