Our new client, is a successful listed International FMCG business. They are growing and passionate about quality and providing a great customer experience. the company is quite unique – prides itself on being quite innovative – believes this keeps the creative spirit alive, and has a sensible work life balance and nice work atmosphere/ will be circa 50:50 working in office/from home.

They are now seeking an ambitious qualified accountant to lead in the preparation, consolidation and analysis of IFRS results, as well as monthly, quarterly and statutory results.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your initial responsibilities will include

  • Manage the time line and submission of accurate figures in the monthly, interim and year end consolidation process of the group figures for a multinational business.
  • Manage the timeline and deliverables from subsidiaries to ensure timely completion of the annual Audit and related processes.
  • Assist in the review and analysing of monthly figures and provides useful insight to the business in regards to profitability and variances.
  • Be responsible for the creation of management board packs that are distributed to the Group Management Team
  • Perform various ad-hoc analysis and potentially represent Finance in project activities.
  • Perform internal controls review and testing as well as implementation of control improvements.
  • Some Tax and Treasury analysis and reporting

Ideal candidates will be Audit practice trained and  ACA/CA/ACCA  qualified with a good academic background and ideally some Group accounting experience gained outside practice. You must be able to communicate with and influence non-finance colleagues.  Your enthusiasm, drive and attention to detail will ensure success and real career progression within this exciting dynamic environment.
