Commercial Accountant – SE London/Kent

Our unique client is very profitable and about to embark on a significant expansion.   They require a qualified accountant to manage some of the more interesting aspects of the day to day Finances and reporting, as well as assist with the planning and analysis, budgets, forecasts and ad- hoc projects. This is a high profile and really broad based role responsible for a range of financial control and commercial analysis responsibilities. With a turnover of around £130m, you will have the opportunity to get involved with everything from Board reporting to capex project management, from management of the Audit and Tax affairs to reporting to the PE shareholders; from production of the budget to monitoring Bank debt and cash-flow management.  This is an exciting role in a very dynamic business.

Working closely with the Board and stakeholders, key responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Monthly reporting as well as management of the audit and stat accounts

Drive improvement across all aspects of control and processing.

Assist with the Budget, forecast and performance analysis, as well as ad hoc projects

You must be a qualified accountant with experience of working is a well managed  organisation. You will have  excellent communication skills and a good academic background and a track record of achievement.

you will be ambitious to learn and keen to get involved in all aspects of the business, dealing with all areas of finance.
